Welcome to Buddha Thai Cuisine
Buddha’s Thai Cuisine concept came from our love of Thai food! Having spent time in Chiang Mai Thailand, Aping completed a Thai Cooking course – after which we decided to bring back an alternative cuisine for people to experience and enjoy in Siargao.
Buddha Thai Cuisine strives towards being sustainable, healthy and authentic. We grow our produce in-house where possible, or source from a local organic farm.
We support local farmers, sustainable agriculture and environmentally friendly products.
We avoid plastic where possible – from using stainless steel straws to having a purified water dispenser available.
Our head chef Chatcha is from Bangkok, Thailand and has over 18 years of experience in Thai Cuisine. Chatcha spends her time ensuring the local produce we use is as authentic as possible and training our local staff.
Our restaurant manager Aimee is a Siargao local and has 10 years restaurant experience, 6 years of which based in Thailand. Aimee is the important link to pass on her experience of Thai culture and food with our local cooks.
